Central Government is providing assistance to MP to promote Solar Energy

New Delhi: To promote solar power, Ministry of new and renewable energy is implementing various schemes in country including Madhya Pradesh. Central government has provided financial assistance of Rs. 382 Crore over the past two financial years, 2016-17 and 2017-18 to Madhya Pradesh for implementation of solar schemes, said by Power Minister R.K Singh.
Scheme includes Solar Parks and Ultra Mega Solar Power projects. Fund provided is Rs.70 Crore for solar parks and ultra-mega solar projects, 35 Crore for grid-connected solar rooftops schemes and Rs.10 crore for rooftop PV and Small Solar Power Generation Program under Solar Schemes.
