COUNTING ON 19TH OCTOBER.

Medhaj News: In Haryana, the state assembly has 90 seats and Congress will work very hard to retain power. Maharashtra with 288 seats has witnessed a coalition of the Congress and Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party for the last 5 years.
With seat-sharing talks still not out of the way, the BJP-Sena alliance may campaign without a chief ministerial candidate. In Haryana, the main opposition party currently is Om Prakash Chautala's Indian National Lok Dal or INLD. The Haryana Janhit Congress, led by Bhajan Lal’s son Kuldeep Bishnoi is also in the fray. BJP ended its short-lived alliance with them last week.
Post the BJP Modi wave, all state pools were expected to be swept by the BJP. However, post the recent Bihar by-election result, the competition seems to exist, albeit not tough. It will be an interesting election to follow.
