Aims and Objectives:

We believe today's world is ridden with conflicts, and its docu-reality (facts and news) as well as docu-narrative (feature stories) is dominated by the perspective/interests/goals of one hegemonic superpower and its allies. Even reporting of a simple fact like x number of people killed in a certain conflict zone, is full of subjective imperialism. If facts are not fudged, they are given a tint and a hue, that changes the entire meaning.

We can say in certain respects that the triumph of evil is imminent; that just as tyranny often appears today dressed as democracy, evil has hidden itself in forms of goodness. The kind of post-Soviet Russia polarization we see in the world is also based not on real issues of the people but identity, pseudo-national conflicts and the like.

The meaning of religion, democracy and egalitarianism, the three great movements that shaped our lives in the last 2000 years, has been turned upside down. Medieval barbarism, not just by adventurist groups, but 'liberal' State Power as well, has become the norm; false flag operations and conspiracies have made us distrust even what we see with our naked eye.

The scenario is frightening…
We will try in our own way to represent human civilization, in its diversity and plurality, exposing the 'false dressed as true', and bringing out facts in as neutral a way as possible. We will aim for the truth. India has been the launching pad of several great ideas that have shaped human life. India has a cultural core which the world does not know; it is our endeavor to showcase this experience globally, with a universal outreach.

Amaresh Misra is an Indian journalist, author, scholar-historian, novelist, film scriptwriter, and activist. He has worked with/written for nearly all major Indian newspapers/journals like Times of India, Outlook, Hindustan Times, Indian Express, and Economic and Political Weekly (EPW). He has several published works to his credit like 'Lucknow: Fire of Grace', a city biography, 'The Minister's Wife', a Penguin novel, and the 2 volume 'War of Civilisations: India 1857 AD', a history of India's First War of Independence, and the peasant uprisings, against colonialism.

His articles on modern, Indian history have been published in prestigious International-academic publications. He was politically active first as a leader-theoretician of a major Indian radical-Left party, then as President of the Anti-Communal Front, allied to the Left-of-Center, Indian National Congress. Amaresh Misra is also known for his activism on civil rights, especially concerning India's Muslim minority. He runs several issue-based, political campaigns on Twitter and Facebook. He also co-wrote 'Bullett Raja', a star-studded, big budget, mainstream, Bollywood film.
