An alien! According to Medhaj News sources, Aamir Khan will be playing the role of an alien in his upcoming movie ‘PK’, which has already stirred lots of curiosity and controversy after the release of its first poster. And till now four posters are released and there are six more to come.

The first ‘PK’ poster featured Aamir Khan standing nude on a railway track with his star-trek ears and a stiff face. Somehow it seemed surreal for Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist to pose nude. The poster was critised by many but was also peculiar. The poster really seems fun and arouses a deep inquisitiveness.

For when you know that Aamir is an alien in PK, it all seems fair. Aliens do not have a lifestyle like ours and this is what we believe. As per the script Aamir can adapt characteristics, mannerism, language and personality of any human whom he touches. Like you heard him speaking in ‘Bhojpuri’ when the third poster was released; the same way, he can speak any language or be a lawyer or a cop just by touching the person. The divine touch is something PK possesses.

Intelligently, it seems, Hirani has taken from Forrest Gump the character of a low I.Q human who is highly adaptive, no personality of his own and is bullied by circumstances. Only here in PK, Aamir Khan has a high I.Q with the divine touch a la ET.

In Forrest Gump, Tom Hanks was a dumb outsider whose interaction with ‘high’ I.Q American reality presents a humorous critic of the same. In PK Aamir seems to be a ‘high’ I.Q outsider, literally; but is Rajkumar Hirani going to go all the way to present a quasi-comic take on certain absurd, ‘low’ I.Q Indian conditions?

Film also features Anushka Sharma, whose character in the film is that of a journalist who is secretly (wait for it) a prostitute. The role of her boyfriend is being played by Sushant Singh Rajput, reportedly.

A civilian court has asked Aamir Khan to appear before court and reply for the case filed for seeking a ban of the movie and poster until he justifies so. Ever since it has come out, the media is flooded with PK jokes.

But the Supreme Court recently dismissed a Public Interest Litigation which sought a ban on the exhibition of posters which was used in promoting the film 'PK'.

Also, actor Shahrukh mocked Aamir for his nude poster. Shah Rukh Khan at the launch of his own upcoming film Happy New Year took a dig at Aamir and mockingly stated that posing naked would not be considered talent.

Aamir Khan was asked to comment on the fact that Shah Rukh Khan had taken a dig at his nude poster. Commenting on the same, Aamir Khan said there are many things coming to my mind right now, but I will avoid; but the actor did say: “What happens to people who dig holes for others? I stay away from such digs.”

The second PK poster featured Aamir dressed like a ‘bandwala’; third was a cop, dressed in a oversized military uniform.

And barely a day after the third motion poster of Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ came out, there was the fourth one. The static poster has both the actors – Aamir Khan and Sanjay Dutt – dressed as ‘bandwaalas’ in Gujarati style, with trumpets in their hand.

Aamir Khan’s tweet read: ‘This is my friend. His name is Bhairon, but I call him ‘Bhaaya’.”
