DEMONSTRATION IN JERUSALEM IN FRONT OF THE OFFICE OF NETANYAHU BY PALESTINIANS

Medhaj News: A demonstration was held on Sunday before the Israeli Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem. Called by the Arabic follow-up Commission, it asked for the cessation of Israeli Government’s violence against Arab society.

The high follow-up Committee to fight violence circulated a statement saying: "against the background of the serious escalation of violence and crime that threatened seriously the Arab society, including security and safety and the future of our children, we stress that police and the Government are responsible for the proliferation of weapon of murder, treachery, shame, and failing to detect offenders. The high follow-up Committee has decided during a joint meeting to hold a protest to lead the Arabic masses on Sunday, 21.9.2014 at 11: 30 Jerusalem LC in front of the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem”.

The high follow-up Committee against violence in its statement stressed "the importance of the participation of all public Arabic leaders, because the issue is everyone's responsibility; if we don’t rush and move now it will be too late."

The Commission said in its statement "tackling crime and violence requires concerted efforts, and every citizen has to bear responsibilities, parents at home, school teachers, imams in the mosques, the Presidents of the boards, to spread the values of mutual respect, dialogue and tolerance as basic pillars of social relations”.

The statement added: "we accuse police and Government of creating a proliferation of weapons and the spread of terrorism, to our community and crime-fighting to blackmail each other when they act in police bullying." The Commission added that the media have an important role in the fight against social phenomena, which is unacceptable, and to contribute in creating awareness and understanding of the seriousness of the situation”.
